This policy explains what personal information Vocalise Digital ("Vocalise", "we", "us") collects through vocalise.com.au, how we use it, and how we protect it. It's written in plain language rather than legal boilerplate, and it only describes what this website actually does, not a generic template.
This policy covers the website only. Any personal information we handle in the course of delivering a client engagement is governed by the terms of that specific engagement, not this page.
The only personal information we collect directly is what you choose to give us through the contact form on this site: your name, email address, company name (optional), the service you're interested in, and the message you write.
Like most websites, our hosting and content delivery provider (Cloudflare) automatically logs standard technical information for every visitor, such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and performance purposes. We don't access this in a way that identifies you personally, and we don't combine it with your contact form details.
We don't currently run analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this site, and we don't use the contact form to build marketing lists beyond replying to your specific enquiry.
We don't sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties.
Submitting the contact form sends your details through Web3Forms, the third-party form-processing service we use to deliver enquiries to our inbox. Web3Forms processes that data on our behalf under its own privacy terms; we don't hand your details to any other third party unless required by law.
Enquiry details are delivered to our email inbox and retained there as part of our normal business records. We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, but no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it. To do any of this, contact us using the details below.
This website is intended for business audiences and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time as the website or our practices change. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
Questions about this policy, or a request relating to your personal information, can be sent to nick@vocalise.com.au. You can also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you feel a privacy concern hasn't been resolved.
This page is general information about our own data practices, not legal advice. If you need this policy tailored for a specific regulatory requirement, we'd recommend having it reviewed by a lawyer.
